Superstar Nikki Webster opens the doors to her new Central Coast studio
Young entrepreneur Nikki Webster is holding a free open day to celebrate the launch of her new performing arts school at Erina on Sunday 29 January 2012.
Dance @ Nikki Webster will offer a state of the art training ground for the Central Coast’s brightest stars, giving them the opportunity to perform in Australia and around the world.
The open day will give participants a taste of the various programs the school has to offer. With free dance classes, singing and show group performances as well as hair and makeup from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
“We are so excited about our fantastic new school, it looks incredible with four studios, floor to ceiling mirrors, sprung flooring and a beautiful reception area. The open day is a great way for people to come along, meet with me and discover what we have to offer,” said Nikki.
Classes on the day are tailored to all ages from tiny tots to seniors. A variety of classes will be available to try on the day including jazz, ballet, musical theatre and singing with Nikki Webster herself.
“Our mash up classes are an awesome way to trial a whole range of different types of performance at once, including singing, hip hop and musical theatre,” explained Nikki.

“Dance @ Nikki Webster is not your average dance school. As well as the traditional dance styles we also specialise in hip hop, acrobatics, drama, musical theatre and singing. We aim to challenge our students while providing them with a fun and fulfilling experience,” said Scott Webster, Nikki’s brother and co-founder of the school.

Sydney sweetheart Nikki Webster expands with new studio
Australia’s sweetheart Nikki Webster is set to expand her business by opening a performing arts school on the Central Coast, following success of her Sydney studio which has launched the careers of many bright stars providing them with the chance to perform in Australia and around the world!
Nikki flew her way into the spotlight at the Sydney 2000 Olympics opening ceremony. Since then she has continued to thrive with successes including Double Platinum selling records and ARIA nominations. She danced her way into lounge-rooms across the nation on Dancing with the Stars, appeared on Thank God You’re Here and played the dream role of Dorothy in the multi-million dollar Australian production of Wizard of Oz.
Nikki has been running her own performing arts school in Sydney with talented brother and co-founder Scott Webster for the past four years. Scott has an impressive repertoire including an extensive background in teaching and performing arts, a Bachelor in Musical Theatre from the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and performances in highly acclaimed musicals including Witches of Eastwick.
The gifted pair are expanding Dance @ Nikki Webster to the Central Coast following huge success in Sydney with an expansive client base that has seen the talent agency produce stars such as leading actress in Terra Nova, Alana Mansour, as well as lead roles in Annie, Mary Poppins and the new television program Young Talent Time.
“Our Sydney Dance @ Nikki Webster family has grown considerably over the past four years. Scott and I are both so excited about expanding to the Central Coast and encouraging the bright young stars of tomorrow while offering them opportunities throughout Sydney,” said Nikki.
Dance @ Nikki Webster has already established itself as a phenomenal training ground for aspiring performers allowing Nikki to draw on her industry and personal experience. The schools offer a myriad of classes including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, aerobatics, drama, musical theatre and singing classes, as well as being able to offer these students the chance to be a part of a modelling and talent agency.
“It is so rewarding to see some of our students embark on a career in the industry and even more satisfying to know I have helped them on that journey,” added Nikki.

My background is in: engineering, government, recruitment, banking, creative arts, creative writing, fitness and health and advertising.

We accept the higher paying job, not because of the challenging work or because it’s a field we are passionate about. We accept it purely for the money. And after three months, the honey moon period is over and we are ready to find another job. Sound familiar? Trust me I used to change jobs yearly. I would always receive a higher paying job, but only looked for similar jobs that I never enjoyed. Why? It was easy. I knew how to impress in a field I had lots of experience in. Did I enjoy it? No.
